How to soften stiff chiffon 6″ ribbon to be used to make sashes for bridesmaid dresses without wrinkling?

Tried washing and drying but too wrinkled and very hard to iron after.

Soak them in liquid fabric softener and lukewarm water, then rinse thoroughly and air dry. Press with warm steam iron.
